Joe Russell Tennis International

Joe Russell Tennis International (JRTI) is a company that specializes in tennis management and staffing of hotels, resorts, and clubs by offering a variety of "first class tennis related services," which help to benefit each establishment by enhancing the overall image. The goal of JRTI is to professionalize the tennis travel and services industry in the Asian region by offering a standardized and uniform product to the customer. Based in Singapore, JRTI is positioning itself to become one of the leaders in the region in the field of tennis management at clubs and resorts.

The Director of JRTI is Joe Russell who is a graduate of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. A former top 200 world ranked ATP player and winner of over 15 international titles, Joe had over 10 years of international playing experience while being based in Osaka Japan. He had the opportunity to play Ivan Lendl, the former world #1 player in the USD $1.2 million Suntory Japan Open Championships in 1991. Having held set points in the 1st set he ended up losing in two close sets. He also held the number one ranking in Japan in 1991.

After his playing days were finished he turned his talents to coaching and most recently tennis management. He has held positions as tennis director of the Footwork International Corp while based in Osaka, Japan and Pinetree Club in Singapore. He has also served as Singapore's national director of the junior elite training programme, overseeing the training and development of the brightest juniors in the country. Currently, he is one of the directors of J & T Tennis International, which trains top juniors at various establishments around Singapore.
